Welcome to the Cardinham & District Gardening Club website. We are a group of some sixty gardening enthusiasts living in or around the village of Cardinham on the edge of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall
Gardening Club Visits May & June
Sunday May 22nd at 2pm, visit to Gardens Cottage, Prideaux, St Blazey, PL24 2SS
Entry £5 and teas £5 approx
Wednesday June 15th 3pm, visit to Hotel Endsleigh Gardens, Milton Abbot, PL19 0PQ
There are still a few places left on the Hotel Endsleigh Garden Tour. Please let Lorna know if you would like to go on this tour (email@example.com).
Payment for this visit (£7.50 per person) must be paid in advance and by 27 May at the latest to Cardinham Garden Club. If the tour becomes fully booked and you are happy to see the garden on your own the charge for this is £5 per person, payable in advance by 27 May, let Lorna know if you wish to do this.
If, after the tour, you would like tea/coffee at £4.50 per person or a cream tea at £12 per person this has to be pre-booked by 27 May 2022 (the hotel will then make tables available); payment for refreshments to be made on the day direct to the hotel. Please email Lorna if you require any refreshments.
Garden for Cardinham School: Libby writes: You may remember that one of our members, Claire Smith, is involved with setting up a garden in Cardinham School. Visit to Trebartha: on October 10th some members enjoyed a glorious outing to Trebartha Estate Garden and Country Garden at Lemarne. These two gardens on the North east edge of Bodmin were open in aid of the National Garden Scheme. Richard and Linda Brice took the photos.
