The Roundabout: Gill Bate and Libby looking for something…obviously something important. ( Well I can’t see it Libby )
In March the daffs were coming up beautifully on the Garden Club’s adopted roundabout in Bodmin. Penny kindly waited until there were no passing cars to get this shot.
In July several members did some work to ‘tidy up’ the roundabout near Morrison’s. More like a major clean up job after four months of neglect in the height of the growing season! We were surprised at how good the plants looked and once the surrounding ‘hay field’ was reduced we could see they were all looking lovely. Morrison’s generously donated plants to fill gaps and once the local authority gets the grass around the bed properly strimmed it will look pretty good
